Purchase and Activation Guide

Log in account, go to Buy Offer > 1-Day Pass / Other Packages and purchase "Chinese Mainland Number"
After successful payment, go to Home and click "Learn More" hyperlink in reminder at the top of the page
View the Chinese Mainland Number reminder and click "Register Now" to complete Real-name Registration to use service

Remarks:

"Chinese Mainland Number Real-name Registration" is required before use.
Required Documents (photos shall be taken instantly during registration):
Hong Kong and Macao Residents Entry and Exit Permits (both front and back sides) and a bareheaded front-view photograph of the applicant
Processing time can take 48 hours; the result is subject to the Chinese Mainland number service provider. The approval status will be announced in 3 days through email or SMS. Please ensure your SIM keeps connecting with the mobile network to receive related message. If you cannot receive the notice, please log in to check the status.
Only ONE Chinese Mainland number can be applied per identity document under all HTCL brands
According to Chinese Mainland number service provider, the service is only applicable to customers aged 18 to 60 (inclusive). Please ensure you have met the age requirement upon Chinese Mainland Number Real-name Registration, or the service cannot be activated

Terms & Conditions

One Chinese Mainland mobile number ("Chinese Mainland Number") is included for receiving and sending SMS and receiving incoming calls only. You can enjoy:
- Receiving incoming SMS is unlimited within Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and other travel destinations
- Incoming voice minutes received within Hong Kong are charged as local voice minutes or deducted from prepaid SIM entitlement or charged at standard travel voice charges when outside Hong Kong
Mobile number porting is not supported for Chinese Mainland Number.
Customer is required to log in SoSIM account and provide personal data to complete the real-name registration process. The result is subject to the Chinese Mainland number service provider.
Only ONE Chinese Mainland number can be applied per identity document under all HTCL brands.
Chinese Mainland number service will be renewed automatically upon expiry for the prepaid account with sufficient remaining stored value.
SoSIM reserves the right to change all charges without prior notice.
